The J. B. Marine Soccer Club was started by and continues to be sponsored by the Jefferson Barracks Marine Service Company, Inc. The company services river transportation companies on the Mississippi River and maintains offices in south St. Louis County. The owner of Jefferson Barracks Marine Service has a long standing personal commitment to the St. Louis community.


J.B. Marine began sponsoring soccer teams in 1981. In 1985, the club was incorporated as a separate not-for-profit organization and has grown through the years to its present 45 teams - 33 girls teams, 12 boys teams both in Saint Louis and Springfield, Missouri. This season, J.B. Marine SC became the first and only premier youth soccer organization to develop players and teams throughout the state of Missouri.

In the proper environment, soccer teaches teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and other positive qualities. The winning of numerous championships is an outgrowth of this philosophy. In its history, J.B. Marine teams have won 4 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, finished second 4 times, and third 4 times. In the same time period bolatangkas, J. B. Marine teams have captured 19 Midwestern U.S. regional titles and 48 Missouri state championships. During the last 12 years, no other club in the country has sent more teams to the National Finals than J.B. Marine. In 2003, U-15, U-16, U-18 and U23 J.B. Marine teams were state champions - with the U16 Girls advancing to Region 2 semi-finals and U18 Girls to the Region 2 Championship game.

It is conservatively estimated that over a million dollars worth of scholarships have gone to J.B. Marine players.
